Arthur J. Ciampi is the Managing Member of Ciampi LLC. For over 25 years, he has represented law firm partners and partnerships in every aspect of their relationships. He has litigated and arbitrated to trial numerous law firm disputes; drafted innumerable law firm partnership, dissolution, and separation agreements; represented law firm partners, law firms, and large law firm groups in lateral moves, mergers and the creation of new law firms; and often acted as a mediator successfully resolving business disputes of all kinds.

Mr. Ciampi is a featured columnist in the New York Law Journal with his column Law Firm Partnership Law and is the co-author of the best-selling treatise Law Firm Partnership Agreements, which is in its 22nd release and which has been called “An essential guide…. It should be on the desk of every managing partner .”

Mr. Ciampi also regularly represents professionals in every profession as well executive level employees and members of closely-held corporations regardless of their industry in all aspects of their relationships and in disputes.


 

Maria L. Ciampi is co-author of the appellate treatise, The Question Presented: Model Appellate Briefs, which has been used as part of the curriculum at the Harvard Law School. She was a partner at a major national law firm and, for almost a decade, was Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor at St. John’s University School of Law. One of Mrs. Ciampi’s appellate cases, won before the New York State Court of Appeals, has been included in two law school textbooks and has been relied upon by numerous courts.  Mrs. Ciampi brings in depth and practical experience to all aspects of our firm’s practice.


 

Arthur and Maria Ciampi graduated with honors from Fordham University, where Maria was valedictorian, and from St John’s University School of Law, where they were both editors of the St. John’s University Law Review.
